We get it, you’re as busy as an ant, your office is your second home and you don’t have the time to attend rallies or engage in protests. Or, alternatively, you could be as lazy as a sloth and just not have the drive nor inclination to step out of your comfort zone and make a difference. And who are we to judge? You’re vegan, so you’re already making a difference. How you decide to manage your time is entirely your choice. No judgment whatsoever. Though I’m assuming you’re wishing you could do more, is that right? We all do. Well then, you’ll be happy to know that you can still help the animals out. You can still actively make a difference and contribute to ending animal cruelty. Yes, this is our gift to you (and the animals). You can thank us later.
Anyway, all you have to do is support the following 6 causes (by clicking on the titles) and within a few minutes you, my friend, would have made a significant contribution to the many animals that need your help!
Sharks are a threatened species. They are at the ocean’s top of the food chain in every way. They are paramount in restoring the balance by keeping a healthy proportion of fish in the ocean. Therefore, we should stop people from capturing them, cutting off their fins and throwing them back into the ocean. It’s cruel and destructive.
Believe it or not, trophy hunting is growing in popularity and is abhorrently cowardly. Each year, approximately 1,500 lions are killed by trophy hunters and, with only 20,000 lions now left in the wild and over 90% of their population gone, we must urgently attend to this before it’s too late!
Honey bees are responsible for producing 1/3 of our fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds. But they are being carelessly wiped out by the use of toxic pesticides. We can easily survive without eating honey, but wouldn’t survive a year without food.

Can you believe it? The Japanese government has not banned the slaughter of our closest ocean allies and arguably earth’s most intelligent mammals. Dolphins and whales should not be hunted. The earth needs them. WE need them. Well, no animal should be hunted, really… but you get the gist. Let’s end this once and for all.
This has already been implemented in Australia and will take effect Down Under as of July 2018. I know, it’s annoying that it has to take so long, but it’s a step in the right direction. Now, it’s time the world follows suit. Let’s work together to ensure animal testing in banned FOREVER!
This speaks for itself. It's hard to believe that this kind of stuff is even happening in our so called ‘developed’ planet. What’s going on in Gwangmyeong is not only animal abuse, it’s criminal.
I know, this isn’t directly linked to helping the animals per se (and goes against my libertarian values), but the more restaurants supply vegan options, the less they will buy animal based products, which will, in turn, minimize the demand for animals being abused. The more we can point out the need for vegan options to restaurateurs and encourage them to accommodate for us, the more that will entice people to turn to the good side of the force.
So, there you have it; in a few short minutes, you took some action and did your part for the day. Can you think of a more rewarding way to start the week? If there are other causes you’d like to bring to everyone’s attention, mention them below. And share this with your friends! The more we make our voices heard, the more people will take us seriously.
Stay cool, stay awesome and stay vegan!
